Treatment Options & Clinical Supervision

Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy & Psychoanalysis for Adults

I offer psychoanalytic psychotherapy and psychoanalysis for adults who want to understand themselves more deeply and create meaningful, lasting change in their lives. People often come to treatment feeling stuck—emotionally, relationally, or professionally—or struggling with anxiety, depression, self-criticism, shame, or a sense of disconnection from themselves or others.

Psychoanalytic work creates space to explore not only current concerns, but also the underlying patterns, relationships, and emotional experiences that shape how you move through the world. Over time, this deeper understanding can lead to greater self-acceptance, emotional flexibility, and more satisfying relationships.

Sessions are typically held one or more times per week, depending on your needs and goals. Together, we will determine a frequency and structure that feels appropriate and sustainable.
I also work with adolescents and preteens who are navigating the complex developmental challenges of growing up. These years often involve rapid emotional, physical, and relational changes, and young people may struggle with anxiety, mood changes, self-esteem, identity development, school pressures, peer relationships, or family dynamics.

My approach with younger patients is thoughtful, relational, and developmentally informed. I aim to provide a safe, nonjudgmental space where adolescents can express themselves openly and feel understood, while also supporting emotional growth and resilience. When appropriate, I collaborate with parents to help strengthen communication and understanding within the family system.

Clinical Consultation

I offer clinical consultation for mental health professionals who want a reflective, psychoanalytic space to think more deeply about their work. Consultation is especially helpful for clinicians who are seeking to develop greater confidence in their own analytic voices, make use of their clinical instincts, and think creatively about moments of uncertainty or impasse in treatment.
Consultation may focus on case formulation, treatment process, relational dynamics, countertransference, or broader questions about professional identity and growth. I work with clinicians in early stages of training and practice, and tailor consultation to meet each person's needs.
Sessions are 45 minutes long and can be conducted in person in lower Manhattan or through secure telehealth.
