Katie Bellas, LCSW, MFA, is a psychotherapist and certified psychoanalyst in private practice in New York City. She works with adults, adolescents, and preteens. Katie completed her postgraduate psychoanalytic training at the Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Study Center (PPSC), a multi-theoretical institute grounded in contemporary psychoanalytic practice.

In addition to her clinical work, Katie is actively involved in teaching and supervision at PPSC. She serves as a Faculty Member in the Four-Year Psychoanalysis Program, Director and Group Supervisor of the MSW Internship Program, and Co-Facilitator of the PPSC Colloquium Series. She has also published on the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on social work students and clinical training.

A native New Yorker, Katie has a background in the arts. Before becoming a clinician, she earned an MFA in Fiction Writing and spent many years working as a writer and editor.
